We were so lucky to have Grandma and Grandpa watch us at lunch when we were in grade school. So many times my mum told us she doesn't know what she would have done if not for their help. Plus, if Grandma was feeding us lunch, it was pancakes! With the crispy edges! If Grandpa was feeding us, it was headcheese sandwiches. Or peanut butter, and he used to put salt on it. Learning that a little salt can bring out the flavour in even the sweetest things has been a life lesson for me. Grandma was always so much fun and loved to see her family get together. I hope we'll always be able to gather and share our memories.

Grandma/MaMere: You were much more than just a Grandma to us. When Dominic passed away in 1987 you took us under your wing and held tight. You help us when I had to work long hours at London Airport by watching Dominic and Julie at the Armories Hotel....my personal babysitter. The best part of that, was being able to see Uncle Bernard, but he wanted to have private time with you, so he sent us to a London Knights game......fully dressed in Logo sweaters (I felt a great betrayal to Uncle Scotty) Dominic had a great time. Julie and Dominic loved having you as their personal lifeguard at the pool. You also became our roomate on all travels...to "the bay" to see Uncle Leo....on our Disney Cruise...Oscoda, every year and when Uncle Bernard passed away. I will never forget our late night talks when the lights were out. Don fell in love you the moment he met you. We will miss you as a Grandma and our friend. P.S. Yes I know Don is sooo handsome.... A music lover(Guitar and Fiddle), an avid Card player, a partime gambler and an overall genuinely loving person. This is the Mary that we have known and come to love and cherish. She has been a friend to us and our family for many years. Always ready for whatever life had to throw at her. An inspiration to everyone, a role model for us all. Can you imagine the party that her and Leo and Jean have started up there for us. I can almost hear the music and laughter now. We share in your grief and wish that we could be there to help you through it. Her loss will be felt not only in Windsor, but every little town or city that she has come in contact with, she made a deep impression where ever she went, people loved her and she gave that love right back. We will miss her. To everyone there, we wish you nothing but the best and hope to hear from you soon. Lots of Love.

Condolences to your family. I met Mary a few times, but really got to know her when I was invited with Helen and Neil to spend 2 weeks in Windsor(1980). She was a loving caring person and will be greatly missed. We had a few good parties and Mary was right there with the rest of us, just giving it her all. Sorry to hear of the loss.

Dear Aunt Ev and Uncle Len, I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you with love as you mourn your mother's death. I remember meeting Mrs. Johnson when I was a little girl! I hope you are well and that you are taking care of yourselves. Maybe I'll get down to Windsor this summer and we'll be able to have a nice long visit. Please say hello to the gang from Susan in Ottawa. I'll keep you all in my prayers.
