Michael DiLuca
Welcomed into heaven with open arms by our loving Father on May 31, 2019. Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, at 79 years of age. Beloved husband of Victoria (nee Capaldi) for 52 years. Loving father of Tina Joncas (Jim) and Deanna Way (Rob). Precious nonno of Cameron, Joshua, Corey, Jonathan and Calista. Beloved son of the late Giuliano and Chiara DiLuca. Dearest son-in-law of the late Loreto and Mariangela Capaldi. Dear brother of Vincenzo (Orlanda), Filomena Pacitti (Carlo) and the late Domenic (Lina). Cherished brother in-law of Cecilia DeLuca (Tito), Joseph Capaldi (Virginia), Tina Rufo (Larry) and Dante Capaldi (Vilma). Will be missed dearly by many family members and close friends.
Michael was a proud founding member of the Verdi Club and the Ciociaro Club. He was a dedicated Tool and Mold Maker/Leader for over 40 years. Michael will always be remembered as a quiet, humble man, who loved his family, his home and spending time gardening, tinkering with various machines and sitting on his front porch.

Visiting on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm with prayers at 8 pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at 9:45 am at Families First 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841, proceeding to St. John the Baptist Church 225 Brock Street Amherstburg, for a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am.
Entombment to follow St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
