Obituary for Michael Mat Stanesic
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mike with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.
Mike was the loving partner and best friend of Marylyn. Dedicated father of Michael and Bryan (Sarah). Kind step-father of Jeff (MaryAnn) and Craig (April). Dear brother of Peter (Patty). Brother-in-law of Mike (Vicki) and Steve. Loving uncle to several nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mate and Barbara Stanesic.
Mike was founder and owner of Lab-Tech and Apex Dental where he took pride in his work as a Dental Technician. Mike enjoyed his sports, but his all-time favourite hobby was racing.

Visitation will take place at Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841) on Friday, April 5, 2024 from 2 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. Visiting will continue on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church from 9:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Mausoleum.
