I would see you regularly with your bacpack and a smile ready to embark another day on your journey to becoming a Chef. You would share about the things you were learning in school. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And Wisdom to know the difference.
What can be said of a loss so great, a pain so deep, a heart so empty at the knowledge of your passing.
At the age of 30 you had already lived a lifetime, and your faith in God was growing every day. You were so excited about the future and all the wonderful things it would unfold for you. You were not a stranger to pain, to addictions and the suffering it brought, you did recover from it, one day at a time you lived your life in the light of hope and grace. Mike you were kind, loving, caring, and concerned for all who came into your life. You did not fall from Grace Mike, you fell into it, and His mercy carried you home.
You will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing you are in His embrace, you are home, sitting at your banquet table with all family and friends who had gone before you. Yes, you are home and at peace within your spirit, and sitting in the light of Glory!
Sending our deepest sympathies to Mike's whole family, relatives and friends.
We will see you again Mike, and when we are called home we know we will embrace in the pureness of love. One added comment, at my banquet table I wondered if you could make the most delicious chocolate creations for me to eat.
