Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on December 9, 2022 at 79 years of age. Beloved husband of 56 years to Dragica “Dorothy”. Loving father of John & wife Elizabeth and Mike and wife Jessica. Cherished Didi to Luka, Adam, Mia and Myla. Predeceased by his mother Jospia Dasovic Mesic (1944), father Ivan Mesic (1998) and step-mother Manda (1999). Dear brother of the late Stephen, late Mile, Ivan, late Mandica, Maria, and Ana Kata.

Mike will be fondly remembered by his extended family and his many friends.
Mike was retired from Chrysler after many years of service. He enjoyed soccer, bowling, Bocce and watching his children and grandchildren play their sports.

The family wishes to thank all of their dear friends who were present and always supportive over the years. Special thanks to Dr. Laura Voltic, Dr. Rao Malempati, the staff at WRH-Met on the 4th and 5th floors and the ICU for of their care and compassion.

Visitation Monday, December 12, 2022 from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. with Prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Funeral Mass Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church (1701 Turner Rd.).
