Obituary for Mona Reid
Passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023 at the age of 91 with family by her side.
Predeceased by her husband, Ed Reid and daughter, Lynda Reid. Cherished mom of Robert (Wendy), Margaret, and Cindy (Terry). Proud and loving grandmother of Melissa (Steve) and great-grandmother of Mathieu and William. She will also be missed by extended family, friends, and neighbours.
Mona loved spending time with her granddaughter as they shared a love of horses and shared a special bond with William and Mathieu. They have fond memories of watching baseball games and baking together.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting will take place at Families First funeral home in Amherstburg on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 11 am until the time of her memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at which time we will also celebrate Lynda’s life.
