Nadine Maure

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Nadine Maure (nee Rousseau) on April 28th, 2020 at 71 years of age. Nadine was predeceased by the her husband and best friend, Larry (June 23, 2019), Parents Lionel and Gabrielle Rousseau.

Cherished Mother of Alison Pillon (Chris), Marc Maure (Lana) and Tara Rafuse (Joe).

Doting Grandmother of Jordyn, Rebecca, Adam (Jade), Haley, Alyssa, Jenna, Benjamin and Brooke. Very Special Great Grandmother (GiGi) to Addison.

Dear Sister of the late Kit (Kathy), Laura (Dave), Alanna (Tom), Tim (Barb), Gabrielle (Paul), Terry (Patricia), Michelle (Doug) and Sheila (Marc). Cherished Daughter-in-law of the late Leo and Winnifred Maure and Sister in Law to Ken Maure (Marie) and the late Miriam Maure. She will always be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews whom she adored. Forever Friend of Harvey and Linda Dufour and Teresa and Rob Sartor and family.

Nadine will be remembered as the most loving, compassionate and gentle hearted woman to all who were lucky enough to know her. Her enormous love for her family was unparalleled. She was extremely proud of her Grandchildren who were her greatest joy.

We take great solace in that she is reunited with the Love of her life whom she missed deeply every day.

A special thank you to Tonya and Justin (RPNs) and PARAMED North for all of their care and for always going the extra mile for her. Another thank you to the Nurses on the 5th floor at Ouellette Campus for their patience and compassion and for being there with her when her family couldn’t be. A Memorial service to properly honour Nadine will be held at a later date once gathering restrictions are safely removed. If you so desire, donations to Hospice of Windsor or JDRF would be appreciated by the family.

During these difficult times, your support is vital for all families who have experienced a loss. Due to the pandemic, families are without traditional means of support as they do not have the ability to gather in groups, hold public visitations or funerals. Please take a time NOW to share a memory either written or recorded via our video condolence area of this page. In the coming months, your support will be needed more now than ever before, so please take time to reach out multiple times to express your support.
