Condolences & Donations

We were deeply saddened by the news of Navarre's passing and extend our condolences to his family and close friends.
Navarre and I (Eric) became really good friends during the time when both of us lived on California Ave.; from the last years of grade school through to our late 20's we thoroughly enjoyed life and had such fun times. As those who knew him can attest, he had a quick wit and great sense of humor which gave us lots of laughs. Once we had our driver's licenses, there was rarely an evening when we could not be found at the A&W on Dougall Rd. In 1974 when Karen and I were married, Navarre was our Best Man; the party went on into the wee hours and we had so much fun with him in control of the microphone, instigating shenanigans. About the time he went to work in Africa, we began to drift apart and in the last 30 years only re-connected a handful of times. During these more-recent decades, the memory of some event he and I shared would come to mind and as I dwelt on it, a smile would usually take-over my face. I shall cherish these recollections even more so, now that he is no longer with us. God bless you Nov, and thanks for all those great memories.
