Obituary for Nemesio Giuseppe D'Agnillo
Passed away peacefully on June 20, 2023 in his 87th year.
Now reunited with his beloved wife Graziella (2006) and his cherished daughter Flora (2021). Devoted father of Gloria Bessel, Laura D’Agnillo (Dave Odette) and son-in-law James Bessel. Proud and loving Nonno of Claudia Rae Bessel “Poppolina”. Dear brother of the late Gavino (late Maria), late Alfio (late Mary), late Enaide, Ennio (late Carla), late Tony (Maria), late Michele (late Lalla), Ermete (late Loretta), Rolando (Rosella), Arno (Regina) and the late Lara. Predeceased by parents Fiorina and Giovanni D’Agnillo. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Nemesio was an exceptionally talented tailor for his entire working career. He loved cooking for his family, making wine, and tending his garden.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nemesio may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Kidney Foundation.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at Families First Funeral Home in South Windsor, (3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841) on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 3 – 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. with parish prayers at 4 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to join the procession from the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2023 to Corpus Christi Church for the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
