Born in Kokkora Arcadia Greece, passed away in Windsor with his loving family by his side on December 11, 2019 at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Mato (Tina) for 50 years. Loving father of George, Zahara and Eva (Heath). Adored Papou of Anna and Matthew MacMillan. Devoted son of the late George and Zaharo Tsakalis. Dear brother of the late Kosta Tsakalis, Yiania (Niko), Vaso (the late Asimakis) and Christos (Litsa). Loved brother-in-law of Louie (Eleni) Pardalis, Andreas (Voula) Pardalis. Beloved uncle and cousin to many in Canada, United States and Greece.
A special thank you to the staff of Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital/Complex Care and Palliative Care. Your kindness and compassion will always be remembered. Nicholas retired from the Greater Essex County District School Board, which was a source of great pride for him. Donations can be made to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church or Transition to Betterness.
