Obituary for Nicola "Nick" Sbrocca

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of a loving husband, father, Nonno and Grandpa on December 6, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Devoted husband to Mary of 57 years. Loving father to Rick & Rosanne Sbrocca, Rosa & Robert Auger and Anthony & Kim Sbrocca. Proud Nonno and Grandpa to Joseph, Nicolas, Matthew and Kennedy. Dear brother to Angela (Vilmo) Truant, Dominic (Marilyn), Joe (Denise). Brother –in-law to Assunta (Carmine) Iatonna, Nicola (the late Olinda) Cirino, Joe (Assunta) Cirino, Rita (Aldo) Gattozzi, Guido Cirino (the late Teresa) & Lorenza, Teresa Buzzeo and Rick Buzzeo. Son of the late Americo & Maria Sbrocca and son-in-law of the late Francesco & Antonietta Cirino. Zio Nick will be forever remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

He was a dedicated Tool & Die maker in the city of Windsor for over 45 years and an active member of the Giovanni Caboto Club where he spent his Friday nights with his brothers and friends. He had a passion for his sports teams and found great joy in watching his kids and grandkids participate in their sports.

Special thank you to Dr.’s Pignanelli, Coughlin, Dhar, Sion and Toth for helping him beat cancer and to CCAC and EMS for all their care and compassion. Also, thanks to Rob Modestino from Whole Health Pharmacy for all your personalized care.

If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
