Nora Wilson

Passed away peacefully on December 11, 2018 at 90 years of age. Nora has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, reunited with her beloved husband Deniss (2006). Nora and Deniss were married 57 years. Also predeceased by her parents Emma and Harry Couch and her siblings Phyllis Halberda and Stanley Sisley. Loving mother of Dan and Gloria, Jeff and Florence (Calgary), Tom and Judi (Florida), Lynn and Barry Welch. Precious grandmother of Matthew (Melissa), Katie (Bill), Nathan (Samantha), Steven, Joanna, Hailey, Michael, Ryan (Kourtney), Kyle, Danielle (Alvaro), Nathan (Meagan) and Melissa (Arnold). Will also be missed dearly by her 11 great grandchildren and 1 more on the way. Dear sister in-law of Floyd Wilson (late Joyce), Pat Hayes (late Robert), Reginald and Winnie Wilson, late Carolyn Pillon, William and Dodie Wilson and the late Susan Wilson, Brenda and Robert Relf , Cheryl and Ken Hines and the late Larry Bondy, Hugh and Willie Pillon. Will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Doreen Montgomery. Nora was a long time member of Parkwood Gospel Church, where her and Deniss, had many friends and enjoyed teaching adult bible studies. Nora was able to touch many lives in a positive way through the bible studies she led, including the 15 years her and Deniss spent in Florida during the winters. Special thanks to the staff at Richmond Terrace (Amherstburg) for the excellent, compassionate care they provided to Nora this past year. If you so desire memorial donations to the Downtown Mission, the Katelyn Bedard Bone Marrow Association or Windsor Regional Hospital would be appreciated. Visiting on Sunday December 16, 2018 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Monday December 17, 2018 at 10 am at Families First (519-969-5841) 3260 Dougall Ave. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
