Obituary for Norma Gail Strong (nee Carter)
December 21, 1938- April 11, 2024
Passed away peacefully at the age of 85 with her loving family by her side.
Reunited with her beloved soul mate Pete (2013). Loving mother of Laurie Ouellette (Kent Ferguson), Anne Marie (Robert Klotz), Dan (Shannon Aitchison), Susan Olson (Garry), Bill (Gen) and Julie Dunlop (John). Dear grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late John “Jack” (1988) and the late Lorna (2012) Carter. Dear sister of Lynda Thibert (Bob 2021), John Carter (1974) Sue, Judy Beleutz (2013). Norma will be missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
We would like to thank the wonderful team of nurses, PSW’s, and doctors at Hospice for their care. Their compassion during Norma’s final days brought comfort to both her and her family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm with parish prayers at 3:30 pm at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave, South Windsor, (519-969-5841).
On Tuesday, visitation will continue at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Belle River, from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am.
Interment St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery.
