Obituary for Norma O'Shea (nee Joseph)
It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our dear mother Norma, on October 14, 2023.
Loving mother of Mary Zalba, and Elaine DiTomasso (Frank). Grandmother of Christian, Cary (Cathy), Brad (Kate), Jaimie (Greg). Great-grandmother of Kerri, Shane, Alexandra, Greg, Annie, Elizabeth, William, Mason, Carson, and Paige.
Norma, with almost a century of memories, from horse and buggy to electric cars, wood burning stoves to microwaves, pen and paper to her funny Facebook posts on her iPad. Norma gave witness to it all.
She survived 2 husbands: Alexander Gugusheff (father of Mary and Elaine) and William “Bill” O’Shea, who filled her life with laugh and love. Norma was one of 10 siblings: Rita, Eleanor, Teresa, Irene, Catherine, Larry, Dorothy, Sharon and Wayne, 2 sister-in-laws: Marilyn and Arlene, and 1 brother-in-law: Bobby. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Norma was smart and witty, and a great presence wherever she went. She was the heart of our family and will forever be missed.
