We had the pleasure of knowing Dennis during the time he spent with Scouts Canada. He was a kind and thoughtful person. We extend our sympathies for your loss.

Dennis and myself grew up together. We lives one street apart, we are the same age, went to the same church
and Sunday school, went thru public school in the same grade and went to the same high school.
In 1974 we both bought new corvettes, his was silver and mine was red. We made alot of fun together back then,
In 1985 I bought a green 1979 corvette (which I still have) and Dennis bought another silver one (1980). Again we
had many great times.
I will cherish all the things we did and times we spent together.
Rest in peace Bro.

I and my family are deeply saddened by the passing of my younger brother, Norman “Dennis”.
There were lots of great memories of Dennis in our early years, but frankly, we disconnected for quite a long time, not over any personal matter, but due to circumstances. The occasional Christmas card or a visit back to Essex County every few years.
Thankfully, we reconnected some nine years ago and have become very close ever since - texting or calling a couple times a week. We were so happy to have him visit us in 2016 for the Memorial Cup in Red Deer, AB, followed by our return visit to Windsor for the 2017 tournament.
During his visit out West, he really embraced my family, and likewise, our two daughters, Emily and Erica loved and adored him.
Dennis was the kindest, most caring person that I know. He took a genuine interest in what you were up to, and was quick to offer ideas and suggestions to ensure your success. He was generous in every possible way. He was an awesome brother, uncle and friend.
If there is anything that I learned from Dennis, it is that family comes first, and that we all belong to each other. My family will miss him beyond words. We will cherish our memories of our times spent together.
Rest in Peace.

I'm saddened by the loss of my friend Dennis, It's been many years since we met back in the '70s. He was a good person and had a heart of gold. I'm glad he was a part of my life when we were young and full of adventure. He will always have a place in my heart.
God Bless you Dennis and may you be at peace and finally with your mom again. Anthony Fonti.
