Obituary for Norman E. Boutet

Peacefully on January 2, 2023, at the age of 88, with family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Winnie (nee Deane, 2019). Loving father of Michael and wife Teresa, David and wife Leslie, Paul and wife Dawn, Nancy Charron and husband Kirk. Cherished Gramps of Jennifer (Alex), Daniel (Erica), Joshua (Shannon), Emily, Erin, Olivia, Samuel, Madison, Jessica, and Nicholas. Great-grandfather of Ellie and Anthony. Survived by his sister Jo-Anne Thomas (the late Harold), and predeceased by his siblings Leo (Pat), Lorraine (Walter), Helen, and Raymond. Forever remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Norman retired from Canadian Rock Salt after many years of service. Over the years, Norman dedicated his time to coaching and administering Minor Hockey and Baseball teams. Norman was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Alphonse Kerckhaert Assembly Council # 2289 , and a past Grand Knight of Mother Theresa Council # 12494. Norman was a man of devout faith, and was a choir member at O.L.P.H. Church. He will be lovingly remembered by all that knew him as a kind, true gentleman.

If you so desire, donations to Hospice Residential Homes-Windsor would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m., with Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. at Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841).

On Thursday, January 5, 2023, friends are invited to join the family after 10:00 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 804 Grand Marais Road East. Cremation will take place with a private family interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
