It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Ofelia on January 19, 2020 at 88 years of age. Survived by her dear siblings Hector Itaas, and Mildred Navarro (Rodolfo). Predeceased by her parents Amado and Amparo Itaas and her siblings Teresa Briones, Amado Itaas, Danilo Itaas, and Hernan Itaas. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, especially Kristina Velez (Tristan) and Phil Navarro (Cheryl) as well as many extended family members.

Ofelia was a devoted member of the Filipino Community sharing her many talents including her choir singing and cooking. She was a retired nurse from W.R.H. – Metropolitan Campus, a career in which her love for her patients was evident and deeply appreciated. Ofelia’s genuine heart was always freely given to a family member or a friend in need.

Visitation Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. with parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. at Families First, 2130 Front Road, LaSalle 519-969-5841 On Thursday, January 23, 2020, family and friends are invited to meet at Sacred Heart Church (1425 Divine St, LaSalle ) for a Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
