Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 21, 2019 at the age of 89 years.
Loving husband and best friend to Kathy (Kaye) (nee Chistoff), with whom he celebrated 58 wonderful years of marriage. Amazing dad to Kathy (Jim) Vincent, Patrick (Cheryl) Mitchell, Valerie Petryniak (Mike), Michael (Sara) Mitchell and Willie (Chantelle) Mitchell. Adored Papa to Sarah (Adam), Josh (Tori), Will, Alexandra, Timothy, Katelyn, Nadia, Julianna and special G-Pa to Clarke and Gwen. Dear brother to the late George. Dearest brother-in-law to Vera (the late Hewitt) Holsey, Alex Chistoff and Anne Shinkar. Pat will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
Pat was retired from Chrysler Canada, was an established professional bowler and was the secretary to Chrysler Men’s Bowling League for 49 years. He was inducted into the Windsor and Essex Ten Pin Bowling Hall of Fame. The family would like to send a very special thank you for the incredible care given to Pat by the entire ICU nursing staff and Dr. Wasserman at HDGH Ouellette Campus.
If you so desire, memorial donations to the Cardiac Wellness & Rehab-Hotel Dieu or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting Wednesday September 25, 2019 from 3-5 and 7 until time of Memorial Service at 8 pm with visitation to follow Memorial Service at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
