Obituary for Paul D. Fassbind

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandpa on March 26, 2021. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon (nee Voisin). Dear father of Bill, Susan St. Louis (Greg), and Sherry Fassbind-Meadows (Nate). Cherished grandpa of Isabella St. Louis and Caitlyn Antic. Predeceased by his parents Dominik and Lina Fassbind. Loving brother to Marg Deschamps (Marcel), Marie Roger (Bill), and Rose Kraal (Ed). Brother-in-law of the late Jack Voisin (Cathy), Jan Ellah (late Lorne), the late Patricia Wintermeyer (Paul), the late Basil Voisin (late Peg), Bill Voisin (Jan), the late Patrick Voisin, Jim Voisin (Zita) and Kim Bailey (Don). Uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by many close friends and beloved relatives in Switzerland.

Retired from Ford Motor Company in 1996 after 32 years of service. Paul will be remembered for his love of gardening, golfing, woodworking and crossword puzzles. Paul’s family will sorely miss his handyman skills and his willingness to always help.

If you so desire, donations to the Downtown Mission or Street Help would be appreciated.
