On February 19, 2024 at the age of 71, surrounded by his loving family, Paul went home into the loving arms of his Lord and Saviour. Forever remembered by his loving friend and mother of his children Judy. Much loved father of LeeAnn Joyce and husband Terry, Tara Cardoso, Jeremy and wife Theresa, Stephanie Sleiman and husband Michael, Sarah Shaften and fiancé Jason Lock. Cherished Grandpa of Jessica Joyce and Hope Broadwell, Ti-Ana Guenther and husband Phil, Jagger Joyce and wife Brittany, Bowie, Jazsper and Elijah, Liam and Landon, Jayden, Jamil, Jenah, and Jesse, Brooke and Alexis. Treasured great-grandpa of Charly and Chase, Kapree, Nirvana, Atlas and baby to come, and Bryson. Dear brother of Kevin and Georgene, Chris and Jenny, Dave, Pete and Melissa, and the late Michael (2020). Adored uncle of Sandy, Steve and Nadia, Danielle and Scott, Matthew and Robyn, and Jennifer, and all their children. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Frank Shaften. Paul grew up in Kingsville, Ontario and soon he became a master mechanic and acclaimed pool champion. He developed many friends and customers who will dearly miss him. His faith was very important to him and he preferred to feel his life was one of purpose. His family meant the world to him, and his kindness and love shines through them. In memory of Paul, his family is honouring his legacy by supporting their dear family friend's courageous battle against cancer. Donations will reflect the profound impact Paul had on everyone, turning grief into a collective act of hope and support.
