Obituary for Percival Jones Sr.
Corporal Percival Jones Sr. passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on January 7th, 2023 at 91 years of age.
He was born on July 25th, 1931 in St. Elizabeth Jamaica, W.I., to the late Mary Jane Brown and Milford Jones.
After retiring as a Police Officer, he migrated to Canada in 1976 with his late wife Kathleen Adassa Jones (2006). He leaves behind his sister Hazel Wilson, 14 children and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was a devoted member of Riverside Baptist Church.
He will be missed by his extended friends and family in Canada, the US, Jamaica and Europe.
A very special thanks goes out to the Staff at Bayshore, the LHIN and Hospice of Windsor for their exceptional care in keeping him comfortable until the end.
In lieu of flowers, if you so desire donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Thursday January 12, 2023 from 3 – 5 pm & 7 – 9 pm at FAMILIES FIRST, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor. Funeral Service Friday January 13, 2023 at 11:30 am. Procession to Windsor Memorial Gardens to follow.
