Obituary for Peter Albert Papineau
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Peter on November 26, 2022 at 64 years of age.
Beloved husband of 39 years to Loredana “Donna” (nee Formicuccia). Dearest father of Deanna, Rachelle (Frank) Stimac and Eric. Cherished Pépé of Luca, Noah and Jacob. Loving brother to Jo-Ann (Pete), Donna (Dave), Bob (Heidi), Johnny (Pam). Uncle to Tanya, Garrett (Victoria), Dan, Tyler, Corey (Darcy), Michelle (Marshall), Shawn, Chris and Joel, Lea, Isabella, Alexa, and Leonardo. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Simone (nee Lavalle).
Peter leaves behind a one of a kind legacy that was filled with selflessness, love, dedication and humour. He was an old soul that you could always rely on to get something done without hesitation. Peter touched the lives of whomever he met. Peter lived to compete and had a fondness for many organized sports such as baseball, hockey and track and field. His commitment and dedication recognized through St. Clair Colleges Intermural leagues. Peter was especially glad to coach his children through their sports growing up and was very passionate to continue coaching his grandchildren after his retirement. Peter spent 28 years of dedicated service at General Motors.
