Obituary for Peter Joseph Lewinsky
Passed away suddenly on May 30, 2021 at the age of 86 years. Loving husband to Janet, with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage. Beloved father to Pamela Smith, Melissa Carter, the late Peter James (2016). Cherished grandpa to Jessica, Peter, Knesia, Katryna, Kamaia, Keilan and by his many great-grandchildren. Peter will also be missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Peter was Past President of the Windsor Lions Club, was a long-standing member and a dedicated volunteer.
If you so desire, memorial donations to the Downtown Windsor Lions Clubs would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Thursday 3:30-7:00 p.m. A private funeral service will be held on Friday 10:00 a.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor.
Personal face coverings and reservations are required to attend the visiting. You can reserve your time for visitation at FamiliesFirst.ca (RSVP) or by calling directly. On Friday, a livestream link of the funeral service will be available on Peter’s online profile in real time. Private family interment to be held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
