Obituary for Piero Ilario Venditti
Passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on May 25, 2022 at the age of 87 surrounded by his loving family.
Loving husband of Antonia “Antonietta” for 56 years. Cherished father of Ida Venditti and Dr. Sandy Venditti. Predeceased by his parents Benedetto and Ida Venditti, his siblings Elena (Loreto) Venditti, Mario (Bianca) Venditti, parents-in-law Riccardo and Maria Quadrini, and sister-in-law Filomena Corrent. Survived by brother-in-law Livio Corrent, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Born in Arpino, Italy, Piero moved to Paris at the age of 15 and came to Canada when he was 20. He was always passionate about real estate development and through hard work and determination, he turned his dreams into a reality. Piero was a founding member of the Ciociaro Club where he spent a lot of time playing cards with friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Hospice of Windsor would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to St. Elizabeth Health Care Company and the Hospice of Windsor.
Visitation will take place at Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841) on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Friends and family are invited to meet directly at Assumption Parish on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral mass with entombment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
