It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and Nonno, Pietro, who passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 24, 2022, at the age of 79 after a brief battle with cancer.

Dearest husband to Antonina (nee Terrazzino) for 50 years. Cherished father to Betty Graziano (Tom), Jeannie Samson (Tim), and Calogero Gulisano (Alfonsa). Loving and proud Nonno to Gabrielle Graziano, Luke & Ethan Samson, Max & Audrina Gulisano. Dear brother to Agnese and Eleonora and predeceased by four brothers and four sisters. Brother –in-law to three sisters and predeceased by one brother in France. Pietro was predeceased by his parents Calogero Gulisano & Benedetta Cassaro and in-laws Giuseppe & Giovanna Terrazzino. Pietro will be missed by many nieces and nephews of Italy, France and Canada.

Pietro immigrated to Canada from Cattolica Eraclea, Sicily, Italy at the age of 21. He worked at Chrysler for 30 years of dedicated service. Pietro loved spending time with his family, tending to his garden, playing cards with his friends, making homemade wine, and no one will ever forget his Sicilian Cannoli. He will be remembered for his generosity and his humble acts of kindness.
