Born January 31, 1931 in Atina, Frosinone, Italy.Passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2022 at 91 years of age. Beloved husband of Caterina (Adamo), the late Ersilia (1976). Loving and devoted father of the late Italo (2008, survived by wife Livia), Luciano (Karen), Linda (Tom) Brownlie, Mary Rocheleau (Ron) and Carmen Kaloyanis (Peter). Cherished Nonno to Christopher, Stephanie, Shawn, Nicole, Celia, Robert, Erin and late Julie. Loved Bisnonno of 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Carmelina Franciosi (late Orazio), Remo Tavolieri (late Rosina), late Pasquale Tavolieri (late Ida), and late Antonio Tavolieri (Ida). Brother-in-law of Salvatore Milicia (Piera) and Maria Milicia (late Nino). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada, USA, Italy and France.

Raffaele was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local #793 and a founding member of the Ciociaro Club.

Visitation Monday, September 19, 2022 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm with Parish Prayers at 4:30pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Tuesday, September 20, 2022 friends are invited to join the family for visitation after 10am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church (4401 Mt. Royal Dr.) followed by the Funeral Mass at 11am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
