It is with a deep sadness that our family announce we have lost another piece of our heart to this heartbreaking disease called cancer. Rene suffered so much this last year and fought so hard. He was never alone, the people he loved and those who loved him were with him every step of the way. Through all of this he still joked and laughed, and was able to live the best he could. Rene spent the last few days of his life in Hospice surrounded by peace and love. Rene’s father Gerald and his sisters Sherry, Diane, Shelley and Danielle were all by his side during this difficult time. On November 20th, 2022 Rene took his last breath during the night with his big sister Sherry by his side. Fly high Rene and keep singing.

Mama has you wrapped in her arms now with your brother Gary right beside you. Predeceased by his brother Gary (2019) and his mother Ethel Nantais (2020). Survived by his father Gerald Larocque, sister Sherry Oswald (Kenny), Adrien, Carey, Gerald Jr.(Donna), Diane Cadarette (Herm), Shelley Matlock (Tracy), Gordon Martin Jr., Danielle Whitmarsh (Dennis). He loved all his family and friends so very much. He left behind many nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.

Rene will be missed and loved always. Until we meet again, rest easy Rene . Cremation has taken place. A private graveside interment of ashes will take place at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Rene received excellent care from the Hospice of Windsor, if you so desire donations to the Hospice of Windsor can be made in his name.
