Obituary for Richard Beitler

Born in Chopovichi, Ukraine Jan. 4, 1922.
Passed away peacefully at his home on
Jan. 8, 2020 at the age of 98.

Predeceased by his precious wife Jean (nee Walker).
Married for 63 years, she was the love of
his life. Loving father of Delores (Larry)
Cook, Marilyn (David) Molnar and Sheila
Marvin. Special Grandpa to Bradley
(Melissa) Cook, Michelle (Justin) Vaccaro,
Natasha (Spencer) Gervais, Sharena
(Adam) Hansler and Shawn Molnar. Great
Grandfather to Quintin Vaccaro. Beloved
son of the late Fred and Olga Beitler. Dear
brother to the late Walter Beitler, Dorothy
(the late Joe) Fazekas and Alfred (Adele)
Beitler.

After a careful study of the Bible
he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s
Witnesses on April 1, 1940. Because he had
a real love of people and his God Jehovah,
he spent many years sharing truths from
the Bible with others. And he had faith in
the Bible’s promise at Acts 24:15 and Psalm
37:29, to be raised to life on this earth
where he will be reunited with all those he
loved and will be able to enjoy gardening
and playing classical guitar once again. The
family wants to extend thanks to the LHIN
who provided wonderful care for him at his
home. They all enjoyed his wittiness and
humour.

Family and friends are invited to a
Memorial Service on Sat., March 21, 2020 at
2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s
Witnesses, 6870 Hawthorne Dr., Windsor.
