Richard Godin
Passed away at home on July 1, 2019 at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband to Gabrielle (nee Hill), with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage. Loving father to Mark (Lise), Michelle (Jamie), Mary (Chris), Monica (Kevin). Dear son of the late Nelson and Aileen Godin. Cherished grandfather of Amanda (Anthony), Stephen, John, Ryan, Nicolas, Solana and Sophie and great-grandfather to Spencer, Benjamin and Charlie. Dear brother of the late Nelson, late Bernard (Donna), Robert (Ed), Joanne (Bob), late Franklin (Dorothy). Richard will be missed by all of his loving family.
Richard was a retired employee of BASF. The family would like to send a very special thank you to the caregivers at Home Instead and Bayshore for all your kindness and compassion.
If you so desire memorial donations to the Windsor & Essex County Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
Visiting Thursday 3-5, 7-9 p.m., parish prayers 4:30p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
On Friday family and friends are invited to meet at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd W) where visiting will continue from 10:00a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
