Obituary for Richard Dennis "Rick" MacDonald
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Beloved Husband of Christine (nee Karoulis). Dearest loved father of Hilary MacDonald and husband Avram Richtig. Loved son of the late Daniel MacDonald (1965), Veronica Sinasac (2013), and Clarence Sinasac (2010). Dear brother to the late Danny (1951), Nancy (nee MacDonald) and Rick Bondy, Carl and Joyce Jacques, Tommy Sinasac (2005), Pauline (nee Sinasac) and Gary Adams and Keith Sinasac.
Treasured son-in-law to the late James Karoulis (2021) and Pauline. Dearest brother-in-law to Kathy (nee Karoulis) and Gerry Newman.
Uncle to Kelly (nee Bondy) and Dean Cusinato, Nicole (nee Bondy) and Dr. Dan Robertson, Scott and Lindsay Bondy, Michael Bondy and fiancé Emily Fulton, Alexander Newman and Jessica Newman.
Will be missed by many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
There are many little friends waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge. Rick maintained a quick wit and dry sense of humour to his last days with us, truly an inspiration on how to live a life.
In accordance to Rick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visiting at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841 on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10:00 am until time of Celebration of Rick’s life at 11:30 am. A private interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian VHL Alliance or Windsor-Essex County Humane Society.
