CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR FRENCHY

Please join the family on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Signature Tribute Event Centre, 3310 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841), as they pay tribute to a successful man.

Peacefully, at home, on November 6, 2023, at the age of 78. Dear father of Jennifer Duguay (Jeff), and Robert. Cherished Pépé of Colby Duguay. Survived by his siblings, Sylvia Brownlee (the late Wayne), Linda Foy (the late Derek), Raymond (the late D.J.). Uncle Richard will be forever remembered by his nieces and nephews. Reunited with his partner in crime Chris Donovan. Predeceased by his parents Rheo and Julie Lafreniere, and his sister Pat Thibodeau (Tom). Richard spent 49 fulfilling years as a bilingual Court Reporter, serving both Provincially and Municipally. Over his career, he sat with 118 Judges. In that time, his vast experience allowed him to impact too many lives to mention. Frenchy was never happier than when he was at the cottage and golfing with Mike and Pat O’Hearn. As an avid gardener, Frenchy loved to spoil others with his passion for canning and his love for entertaining. There was never an empty glass of Pinot Grigio, or “pails” on the golf course.

“Cheers Mon Ami!”

If you so desire, donations to Hospice Residential Homes- Windsor would be appreciated by the family.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place on January 14, 2024.

Arrangements entrusted to Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841).
