Luvisotto, Rick “Luver”

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father and Nonno on September 11, 2023, with his loving family by his side at 71 years of age.

Best Friend and devoted Husband to his Wife Karen with whom he shared 44 very special years of marriage together.Cherished and proud Father to our beautiful children Melissa (Ryan Hurley) and Matthew Luvisotto (Tayler). Adoring Nonno to our precious Grandson Hudson “Huddy”.

Predeceased by his parents Sam and Irene Luvisotto and his in-laws Stan and Victoria Stanley. Much loved brother of Larry Luvisotto (Mary) and Kirk Stanley (Heidi). Rick will be greatly missed by his special nephews, their spouses, cousins, extended family and friends

He will be missed by his fur friend Maggie and reunited with his other fur friends Chloe, Dexter and Riley. He will be remembered always by his dear friends Andy Parici and David Beres.

Rick loved his family beyond measure and devoted his time and support. Anyone who knew him always said he was a great guy who made everyone laugh.

Rick had a successful career with General Motors and enjoyed retirement for 15 years. He loved watching his favourite football team, the Detroit Lions. Growing up, Rick was an all-around great athlete in baseball, basketball and football. During his retirement he enjoyed playing golf, ice skating, exercising, but his most meaningful time was spent with his family.
