Obituary for Robert "Bob" Cook

Passed away suddenly at home at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Diane (2004). Bob will be remembered by his cherished daughters Carol-Anne, Kimberly, and Heather and grandchildren Stephanie, Travis, Ashley, Meagan, Melissa, Robert, Melanie, Christopher, and Sierra, and great-grandchildren Arianna, Amelia, Logan, and Magnus. Brother of the late Shirley and Iris. Bob will be missed by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Robert grew up on a farm in Quebec, and developed a life-long love of horses at a very young age. Having left school quite young to help on the farm, he had a strong work ethic and started his own business repairing Singer sewing machines. This furthered his career when General Motors took note of his talents and hired him on, where he worked over 30 years until his retirement. Bob took pride in everything he did. A private graveside service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
