Obituary for Robert H. Langlois

Passed away peacefully while in the loving care of his family on June 16, 2020 at 95 years of age. Dear and loving husband of 67 years to the late Lorraine (nee O’Donnell). Cherished and beloved father of Sharon and Don Taylor, Brian and Debbie Langlois, Robert and Barbara Langlois, and Mary Beth Russ. Loving Papa to Andrea (Kevin) LeClair, Jennifer (Derek) Maxim, Brian Jr. (Lisa) Langlois, Breanne (Eric) Schinkel, Andrew Langlois, Eric (Ingrid Schwartz) Langlois, Brett (Cailey Maurice) Langlois, Natalie Russ, Danielle (Ja’Mone) Bridges, Aaron (Aisha) Russ, and Philip (Megan White) Russ. He was a Great-Papa of Delaney LeClair, Isaac and Jack Maxim, Charlotte and Owen Langlois, Malia, Nathan and Liliana Bridges, and Xareni Russ. Predeceased by parents Claude & Shirley (nee Ridley) Langlois, his step-mother Edna Langlois and by his siblings Gerry Langlois, Graham (Linda) Langlois, and step-brother Ron Langlois. Survived by his sisters-in-law Betty Langlois and Pam O’Donnell. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States.

Robert was a veteran of the Dental Corp in WWII. He retired from Chrysler’s after over 20 years of service. He loved to travel with his wife Lorraine and family, celebrating traditions and special occasions and enjoying time with his grandchildren. Robert was an avid reader, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching his favourite TV shows. He had a warm and loving heart and will be truly missed.

Visitation Thursday from 3 – 5 pm & 7 – 9 pm. Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 On Friday, family and friends are invited to gather at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd.) after 10 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am.
