Obituary for Roger Earl Cox
April 12, 1939 – September 1, 2022
Roger passed away peacefully at the age 83 with loving family by his side. Devoted husband of Carolyn for 61 years. Cherished father to Brad, Brenn & Heather, and Todd & Katie. Proud Grandpa to Rachel, Connor, Caitlyn, Brian and Benjamin. Predeceased by parents Samuel “Joe” and Florence. Dear brother to the late Robert “Bob”, Edward “Ted” and Murray. Roger will be missed by many friends and former co-workers at Glider Guard. Roger was the proud president of Glider Guard for 42 years where many memories and friendships were created. Roger and Carolyn enjoyed spending the winter months at their house in Arizona where he was a member of Yuma Golf and Country Club and Pointe West Golf Club in Amherstburg. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. As per Roger’s wishes, cremation services have been held and a memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor.
