Obituary for Roger Roehler

71 years, on March 30 peacefully at his home. Loving husband of Sharon (nee Bastien). Cherished dad of Juanita and Arthur Triolet, Rodney Roehler & Linda, Randy, Ross and Cindy, Roger. Also missed by special daughters in-law Kelly and Lisa. Beloved son of the late Elmer (1990) and Adeline Roehler (2000) and son-in-law of the late Elmer & Bertha Bastien. Loving grandpa of 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Barbara and her late husband Julius Kiss, Art and Marlene Roehler, Mike and Jan Roehler, Frank Roehler and Lyndia, Don Roehler, Dan and Paula Roehler, Rosemary and Norm Kennette, Mark and Cheryl Roehler, and brother-in-law of Juliette and Brenda, Eva and her late husband Gordon Hunter (2006), Bonnie Bastien, the late Carol (2001) wife of Jerry Crinion, the late Deanna (2011) wife of the late Reg Gaudette and the late Anna (2011) and husband Tom Walters Many nieces and nephews also survive. Missed by friends Al and Carol O'Neil, Roger Langis and Sharon Moody. Butch was a former employee of Chrysler Canada, CAW #444, was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association and a member of K of C St. Clement's Council #2844. He will be remembered for the passion he had in riding his "White Trike". If you so desire, donations to the Downtown Mission or the Essex Food Bank would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Sunday 3-5 & 7-9pm and Monday 3-5 & 7-9 pm with K of C prayers Sunday 7:30 pm and parish prayers Monday at 7:30 pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, (519-969-5841) On Tuesday, family and friends are invited to meet at St. John the Baptist Church, Amherstburg after 10:30 am followed by funeral Mass at 11 am. Cremation to follow with interment of cremated remains in Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
