Dear Zia Ida, Joe, Chris and families, Tim and I are sending our most heartfelt condolences for your father, husband and nono. We were very saddened to hear of Zio Romano's passing. As a child I loved going to Windsor to visit him and Zia Ida. It was an adventure for our large family. I remember the smells of Ida's delicious cooking; breaded veal cutlets and homemade pasta. I loved to listen to the conversations between him and my dad, Nico. I didn't understand the Italian but it still was so comforting to me. May you keep him close to your heart always with all your sweet memories and keep telling stories of him. Love, Anita and Tim xo

HI Chris Teresa Daniel and Nicolas The Nagy families in Burlington and Windsor would like to pass on their condolences for the passing of Romano. If there is anything we can do, please ask. Chris, I know I have not seen your dad recently, but I will always have great memories of him. He had the best smile and I am sure he is smiling down on you and your family now. He loved to talk and although I can not remember all the topics, I do recall some and even the places where we did our talking. I remember he loved his Rangers and I always loved talking hockey with your dad. I know he loved his soccer, unfortunately I did not have the same passion then, but I always enjoyed when he took us to the club. The food was always so good there. Speaking of food, that was another place I recall. I can still remember many a meal in your basement on the side were you had the kitchen set up. Your dad with his nice glass of wine and your mom would prepare the best meals. We always had good conversations down there. I know I was always happy for you, that you had such an awesome dad. He was the best! Even being a Rangers Fan... I recall coming to visit, your mom would be working in the garden, next to the garage, where I would find your dad working on all types of things. On that note, I see a lot of you in your dad. Not sure if you see it, but I do. Your turned into a real handy man. Not only that, I was blown away by the younger picture of him.. you look like him too!I If you don't believe me, I have pictures! You also have that great smile...don't lost it! Chris, if there is anything we can do, please ask. Also can you pass along our condolences to your mom for me. Tell her I miss her!
