Died suddenly, and surrounded by loved ones, on January 10, 2024, at 86 years of age. Loving husband of Irene for 58 years. Beloved father of Dawn Lamontagne (Jack) and Shawn (Kristy). Cherished Papa of Audrey and grandfather of the late Beatrice. Ron is survived by his sisters Dolores and Kathleen (Butch); and by his sisters-in-law Vicky and Ruth, brother-in-law John (Maria). Predeceased by his dear brother Gerald (Inez), as well as his sister-in-law Helen (Richard) and brothers-in-law Gerry and Larry. Because of his affable nature, sly sense of humor and story-telling abilities, Ron will be sadly missed by those who knew him. Visitation will be held at Families First, East Windsor 1065 Lauzon Rd. (519-969-5841) on Wednesday January 17, 2024, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Visitation will continue the next day on Thursday January 18, 2024, from 10 am until the time of Ron’s Celebration of Life service at 11 am in the Families First Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers or charitable donations, the family asks that you get together with someone you love to reconnect, share stories, and remember Ron as we will remember him: fondly.
