A brilliant man with a gentle nature, large heart, and a kind Christian soul. Ronald`s work as an Engineer took him around the globe, giving him a sense of wanderlust which prompted travel to 6 continents.
Passed away peacefully at Hospice of Leamington. Beloved husband of Heather (Nina 2004). Loving father of Ian (Tara) (Wallaceburg), Rosemary (Paul) (Brampton). Treasured stepfather to Kim and Ron, Kerry (Scott), Kristi, Brett and Lori, Jenny and Vic (Alberta). Dear grandfather and step-grandfather to 18 (plus 6 spouses). Great grandfather to 8. Survived by brother Gordon and family (England), brother in law Brian and Judy (Alberta), Douglas (Barb 2018) and families.
If you so desire donations to Hospice or Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation celebrating Ron’s Life will be held Saturday May 11, 2019 from 10:00am until the time of the service at 12 noon at Families First 585 Sandwich Street South, Amherstburg, 519-969-5841.
