We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Rosa D’Alessandro, at home with her family by her side, on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2023.

Predeceased by her loving husband Pasquale (1975). Dearest mother of Elisa Calla (Ralph), Anna Lanno (Medoro), Tony (Sylvia), Maura Nardone (Joe), Joanne Macioce (Giulio), Alfredo, Nancy and Rosie. Cherished Nonna of Daniela (Mike), Christina (Dino), Laura (Brian), Marisa (Jorge), late Bianca (1994), Anthony (Roxana), Joseph, Julian and Kayla. Treasured Bisnonna of Gabriela, Alex, Max, Marc, Antonio, Matteo, Aria and baby Grace Rosa on the way. Predeceased by her parents Nunziata and Giuseppe, her in-laws Alessandra and Antonio, her siblings Elena, Filomena, Angelina, Alfredo, Armando, Giuseppina, Rosario and Rosariuccio and several brothers and sisters in-law. Loving zia to nieces and nephews in Canada, USA, Italy and England.

A proud woman, Rosa was hardworking, loving and nurturing. Always putting everyone first, she had the warmest, radiant smile and treated everyone like family. A “jack of all trades”, she could be found either cooking, baking, gardening, knitting or sewing. Our absolute everything, Rosa was our Queen, our hero, our Angel.

In the words of our mom, “Voletevi Bene”. Special thank you to Dr. Dale Ziter. Thanks to Hospice, St.Elizabeth Nurses, Medigas, LHIN (CCAC) for your loving care and support. If you so desire, donations to Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
