It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Rosa on Sunday, July 28, 2019 in her 79th year, surrounded by her family and longtime friends Filomena and Costanzo Coletti. Loving wife of Vittorio for 57 years. Cherished mother of Lou and his wife Gina. Dear sister of Romeo Vecchione, Sergio Vecchione, and Delia (Frank) Soresi. Beloved aunt of Joe (Janet) Vecchione and Melissa Vecchione, and their families. Rosa will be missed by many extended family and friends in Italy and Canada. She retired from the GM Trim Plant, where she was blessed with many wonderful friends during her 30 years of service.

Special thanks to her family doctor, Dr. Henry Fortuna, who coordinated with Dr. Misra, Dr. MacFarlane, Dr. Anwar, Dr. Cheung, and Dr. Bagga for their care in recent years. Special thanks to the dedicated commitment of her VON nurses and also to the nurses and doctors on the ICU team at Met Hospital.

Visitation on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 4:30 p.m. and again on Friday, August 2, 2019 after 8:00 a.m. from Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 in procession to St. Angela Merici Church, 980 Louis Ave., for Mass to begin at 9:30 a.m.
