Obituary for Rosina Rochford

With her daughters at her side Rose passed away suddenly but peacefully on Sunday morning January 8, 2012 now reunited with her cherished and only love of her life Michael. Proud Mum of Maria and husband Chris O'Neill and Caroline Rochford. Loving "NANA" to Lauren Rochford, Meagan & Michael Hatch and Ryan O'Neill, not to forget LuLu. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Her vitality and love for life will be remembered & greatly missed. With her strong faith in God she influenced many through her involvement with The Good Shepherd Parish, many years of volunteering at the downtown mission and her participation with the Women's Catholic League. You would easily recognize her happy go-lucky English nature, as she loved to laugh, dance, joke, enjoy a cup of tea, play bridge, but most of all she loved FAMILY. She was a best friend to Caroline, rock for Maria, and undeniable loving Nana to her grandchildren. There are no words to explain the sadness we all feel and the void in our hearts will remain forever. Many thanks to the Nurses and Doctors of Hotel Dieu's Emergency and ICU departments for their expertise, sincerity and support of Rose and family. Thank you Father Gary in our time of need. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Downtown Mission would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday, January 12th from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm with Parish and C.W.L. Prayers 7:30 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor (519-969-5841). Funeral Mass Friday, 11:30 a.m. at The Good Shepherd Parish (13789 St. Gregory Road, Tecumseh). Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery.
