Born November 12, 1912 in Gosfield North, Township. Died peacefully, on September 17, 2012 at 99 years of age at his home, Extendicare Southwood Lakes. Predeceased by his wife Edith (1993). Loving father of Irene Alexander (Ted), Lorraine Drummond (Jim), and Katherine Leigh (Bob). Beloved Grandpa of Sharon Wasyluk (Mark), Heather Perissinotti (Jamie), John Drummond (Raphaele), Jennifer Drummond, Meaghan Leigh, and Nicole Leigh (Chris). Doting Great-grandpa of Cora and Tasha, Dana and Jenna, Sophie and Stephanie, and Francis. Survived by his sisters, Margaret Barnett, Ina Tofflemire and Jean Bertram. Predeceased by brothers, Earl and Donald and sisters, Grace McDowell and Dixie Shaw. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a long and proud member of Emmanuel United Church and Oddfellows Lodges and Clubs.
