My sympathy to Debbie, Mike and families and the Lesperance clan. Please know that your Dad had a huge positive influence on the people with vision loss in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent but those with sight who worked for him and were able to make others more independent through his leadership. I'll never forget the day I travelled to Toronto with him for a CNIB conference, so nervous because I had to guide him down the escalator. He calmed me and taught me the correct way to guide him! Organized, kind and creative! Thanks Roy for hiring me back in 1998 and allowing me to enjoy a fulfilling 28 year career. Pam Blondin (Simpson).

Dear Mike & Deb and families,
I am so sad that I am currently in Florida for the winter and therefore cannot join for you for the celebration of your dad’s life - I’m sure in true Roy fashion it’ll be quite a celebration! I hold in my heart all the memories of times we shared - the love and laughter and music and friendship.
Big hugs to you all . . . Love, Denise Callaghan

Dear Lesperance Family,
Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of Roy. I had the pleasure of being Roy’s dentist for many years prior to my retirement. He was a truly inspirational man and would always bring a smile to all of our faces during his visits.
A life well lived!!
God Bless...
