Rudy Carter

Born Sept. 01, 1934, in North Buxton, Ontario and passed away peacefully on Thurs. May 23rd in Windsor, ON. Son of the late Frances & Elmer Carter and baby sister Melody. Dear father to Ronson Carson, Kevin Carson, Ricardo Carter, Shelley Carter & Dion Carter. Rudy was the coolest brother and leaves behind 10 siblings: Mel, Gale, Paul, Carl, Randall, Joan, Freda, Colleen, Cheryl, & Vaughn. Proud Papa to 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Uncle to numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends far and wide.

Retired from Chrysler Canada and he served on so many charitable and service organizations for many years. Rudy embodied the definition of a gentleman and a man of good family and social standing; courteous, gracious, straight forward honourable man with clear boundaries. His generosity continues in death as Rudy bequeathed his remains to the University of Western Ontario for the education of others.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Church (85 Park St E.) on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10 a.m. All are welcome.

If you so desire, donations to Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation, Hospice of Windsor or the AIDS Committee of Windsor.
