Passed away peacefully on February 12, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at 83 years of age. Beloved husband of 61 years to Janet (nee Lawrence). Father of Randy (Barbara), Ken (Janice) and Stephanie (Matt). Devoted grandfather of Amy-Lynn, Eric and Laura Primeau (Josh), Ryan (Jess), and Tyler Collins, Ethan and Evan Eansor. Proud great grandfather of Xavier, Kiara, Lennox, Chase and Hayden. Brother of Edward and the late June Beer. Brother-in-law to Jeannette Primeau, Patricia Dingle (late Everette), the late James Lawrence, Joe and Yvonne Lawrence, Terry and Julie Lawrence. Rudy will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and his group of close friends known as the Hobnobbers.

During his 37 years of service with the Windsor Separate School Board he touched the lives of many children and fellow teachers. His love of children lead to many years as volunteer coordinator at Give Kids The World in Florida. One of the original founders of the WAMVL volleyball league, his organizational and leadership skills also shone through in his many years as Activities Director at LaCasa del sol Florida, his winter home for 24 years.

Visitation will be held Sunday February 16, 2020 from 2 p.m. till 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. till 9 p.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor (519-969-5841).

On Monday February 17, 2020 family and friends are welcomed to gather at St. John Vianney Church 385 Dieppe St, Windsor, from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
