Obituary for Russel Fields
On April 26, 2023, at the age of 78. Dear husband of Cheryl. Much loved father of Andrew and wife Angela (Castagna), Elena Fields and husband Jason Novakovski, Erin Fields and husband Peter Carvalho. Cherished Papa of Theoren, Mia, Maddie, Olivia and Mila. Loving son of Joyce Harrison. Dear brother of Jennifer Jackson, Sheila Lauzon (Ron), and predeceased by Sharon Gagnon and John, Raymond and Debbie, Roger (survived by Stella). Russel will be forever remembered may many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Russel retired from the GM Trim Plant after 32 years of service. Russel was a proud member of the Windsor District Basketball Referee’s Association for many years. He was also a member of the Senior Olympic Basketball Association. He could often be found riding his bicycle or on the basketball court. Although Russel enjoyed many sports activities, his greatest passion was his family, and he loved them dearly.

Funeral Service Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthews Church, 1600 Norfolk Street.
