It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sandy on November 5, 2023 with family by her side, after a hard fought battle with COPD. Best friend and partner of Elze Noël for 13 years. Predeceased by her husband Harold (2005) and her parents Lloyd and Mary Staley. Loving mother of Don, the late Michelle (2018) and Cathy Crosby (Craig). Proud Gramma of Summer Grant (Carson), Devin Burke (Anna), Janna Burdett (Haydn), Jamie Brown, Jake Burke, Kaylee Shackleton (Martin), Max and Desmond Crosby. Great Grammy of Mady, Charli, Bracken and Elliott. Dear sister of Mary Elliott (Bill). She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Sandy worked for many years in the cafeteria at Sandwich Secondary School. She loved cooking, bowling, fishing, crocheting and watching the Lions. She enjoyed her time with her grandkids teaching them how to make chocolate treats and crafts. Many summer days were spent with friends and family at the campground, having fish fry’s and singing songs by the fire. Sandy loved sitting in her gazebo with Elze, looking over the garden and watching all the birds.
