Obituary for Serapio Valdez Aragones Jr.
After a long and happy life dedicated to his family, Serapio passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 86.
Loving husband of Lourdes (nee Lolarga) for 53 years. Proud Dad of Joseph, Jeffrey, and Jason. Dear brother of Jaime, Virginia, Purita, Benjamin, Rosalia, Clarita, and Milagros. Predeceased by his sister Evelyn. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Serapio worked as a Mechanical Engineer and was Vice President of DiClemente Siegel Design Inc. In retirement he was an avid sports fan, enjoyed fishing and funding the casino.
Visitation will take place at Families First Funeral Home in South Windsor on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 1 – 3 and 5 – 7 pm with parish prayers at 5 pm. Visiting will continue on Monday, January 8, 2024 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church from 10:00 am until the time of mass at 10:30 am. Burial to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
