Sonia Coletti (Sablich)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Sonia on October 20, 2018 at the age of 52 years. She was a selfless, strong, generous, and loving person who was devoted to her family. Loving and cherished wife of Dino for 32 years and adored mother of Christina, Jessica and Joseph. Precious daughter of Giacomo Sablich and reunited with her mother Maria (2012). Dearest sister of Roberto Sablich. Cherished daughter in law of Frank and Elsa Coletti. Sister in law of Maria and Val Danese, Andy and Sandra Coletti. Special zia of Melissa and Randy, Daniela, Justin, Anthony, Samantha, and Alysha. Missed by Fernanda and Joe Pedri (Windsor) and by her many other family members in Italy, Croatia, and Australia. Sonia was an educator at Massey Secondary, where she was loved by her students and will be missed by her many friends and colleagues. She was a faithful Catholic devoting much time to prayer, charity, and belonged to many groups within the church community. She embodied a spirit of virtue, kindness, and passion that we will remember. If you so desire, donations may be made to Valero Wellness through GoFundMe “In memory of Sonia Coletti” or at the funeral home. A special thanks to all of Sonia’s caregivers for the compassionate care you gave her.
